Windows Ads in Apps
Campaign | Lead Design and Art Direction
When Microsoft launched the Windows 8 operating system in 2012, their online advertising sales team needed a campaign that showcased the platform as a truly unique advertising opportunity. Windows 8 was positioned as an advertiser's creative canvas from which marketing stories could be told in new and compelling ways. The campaign selectively targeted 200 US advertisers to recieve the 'Ads in Apps' promotional packet, which included a short promo video, and a custom designed printed folder with 5 inserts detailing the advertising potential and opportunities. As the lead designer and art director for this project, I led the design team in concepting and creating the assets.

AdWeek 2014
Event colatteral | Lead Design and Production
The work below was used for Microsoft Advertising's presence at Ad Week 2014. An agency was hired to come up with the overall theme that conveyed how Microsoft empowers people with their technology and builds tools for creativity. As the Lead Designer for Microsft's in-house creative team, I worked directly with the agency, taking their styleguide then working with my team to produce the deliverables.

PARTNER STUDIO BY AOL
UX / UI | Lead Design and Art Direction
In 2015, AOL lauched it's in-house creative agency called Partner Studio to make ads for brands. To coincide with the rollout, they needed to build the Partner Studio site. The ask was for something modern, clean, but a little edgy while still approachable. The design was primarliy driven by suporting the content and creating a consistent user experience across devices.

TECHCRUNCH
10TH ANNUAL CRUNCHIES AWARDS
Event Branding | Lead Design and Art Direction
For the 2017 Crunchies Awards, TechCrunch was looking for event branding that played a little more into their ongoing reference to the the film 2001 for the event. After meeting with the client, we zeroed in on the feel of sci-fi movie posters. Three concepts were presented, and we moved forward with a retro comicbook aesthetic for the deliverables, which included a styleguide, logo, motion graphics for the opening and award categories, and graphics for web and print.

GUEST CHECK-IN APP
UX / UI | Lead Design and Art Direction
Zenoti Software needed guidance on a new guest check-in app they were working on. The ask was for something clean, modern, and scalable so it could serve as a template for their various clients. The screenshots below are from an early iteration that was provided to their developer team.
